The Sport for Development Coalition is a UK-wide movement of 400-plus charities and civil society organisations, leagues, clubs and networks over-arching thousands of programmes intentionally using targeted sport and physical activity-based interventions to address health and societal inequalities. The Sport and recreation Alliance is proud to host the Coalition team and provide them with employment and financial management services.
The International Working Group (IWG) on Women & Sport is the world’s largest network dedicated to advancing gender equity and equality in sport, physical education and physical activity. Every four years the IWG stages the IWG World Summit on Women & Sport, the largest gathering of its kind in the world. The next event will take place in Birmingham, UK, in 2026.
The current 2022–2026 IWG Secretariat is being hosted in the United Kingdom by the Sport and Recreation Alliance.
