ukactive will be holding their annual Summit on 7 November at the Congress Centre in London.

As part of our new partnership with ukactive, the Sport and Recreation Alliance has managed to secure a discount for our members to attend the conference (usually £240 +VAT) for the member rate of £120 per person, or £100 per person when two or more places are booked (+VAT).

The conference is themed around what the future holds for physical activity, sport and public health.

Speakers include:

  • Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson DBE, former Paralympic Gold Medallist and Member of the House of Lords.
  • Rt. Hon Andy Burnham MP, Shadow Secretary of State for Health.
  • Sir Keith Mills GBE, Founder of Sported., formerly Deputy Chairman of the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
  • Dr David Walker, Deputy Chief Medical Officer and Director of Public Health for the Midlands and East Cluster of Strategic Health Authorities.
