The Sport and Recreation Alliance has today published its new five-year strategy, titled ‘A United Voice for Sport and Recreation’.
The strategy is the result of an enormous amount of work that has taken place to ensure the Alliance remains well-placed to meet current and future needs of members. We have conducted a comprehensive Member Review over the past 18 months and alongside this, we recently held a series of roadshow events – SRA On The Move – across the country, giving the Alliance the opportunity to speak to members and absorb feedback on our plans.
This work has helped form the basis of our exciting new strategy, which is primarily focused on three core objectives:
On publication of the strategy, the Sport and Recreation Alliance CEO Lisa Wainwright MBE said:
“As CEO of the Sport and Recreation Alliance, I’m incredibly proud to publish this new strategy, especially in our 90th anniversary year, which builds on our rich history while demonstrating a clear desire to evolve and strengthen our ability to deliver for our members in the future.
This strategy will allow us to continue to be a strong, independent voice for the sport and recreation sector - we are excited for the opportunities ahead and look forward to working with our members and partners over the coming months and years.”
