While there wasn't a formal, public consultation the Sport and Recreation Alliance offered to share the views of our members with Sport England.
This document incorporates all of the feedback which we collected as part of this process and subsequently shared with Jayne Molyneux, Strategic Lead Youth at Sport England in February 2017.
Response to Sport England safeguarding document
The report is due to be submitted to the Minister at the end of February at which time the Department for Culture, Media and Sport will consider the recommendations put forward.
We will keep you up-to-date with any developments.
