The Sport and Recreation Alliance, in conjunction with Sheffield University and universities from nine other European countries, is conducting a survey of sports clubs in the UK as part of a European-wide survey on their role in promoting volunteering and social inclusion.
The Alliance has already contacted a selection of its members asking them to promote the survey to their clubs and encouraging them to fill it in.
With the survey closing shortly, the Alliance is keen to obtain as many responses as possible and is asking its members to spread the word.
There are several ways that members can promote this survey:
• Through their social media accounts
• Club e-newsletters
• Word of mouth when talking to your members over the phone or in person
All information will be treated confidentially, is anonymous, and will only be used for scientific purposes.
It will take participants just 15-20 minutes of their time and will help the Alliance continue its work in campaigning for sport.
