We are looking for the Sports Parliamentarian of the Year and we need your help.
The Sport and Recreation Alliance would like to hear which MP or Member of the House of Lords you think deserves to be recognised for their efforts to promote and protect the interests of sport and recreation in 2011.
Has your club benefitted from the support of the local MP this year? Has your governing body received support in Parliament? Or perhaps you have been impressed by an individual’s performance in a debate or by their commitment to a particular campaign. Whatever the reason, the Sport and Recreation Alliance would like to hear from you.
We are seeking nominations from individuals, clubs, national governing bodies and other interested organisations from across the sport and recreation sector. To nominate a Parliamentarian, please download the one-page form and return it to the Sport and Recreation Alliance by email, post or fax. Please note the deadline for submissions is Friday 23 September 2011.
