The Sports Journalists’ Association (SJA) has announced that Minister for Sport and the Olympics, Hugh Robertson MP, will speak at its Olympic Question Time event on 5 April in the debating chamber of London’s County Hall.
Speakers already confirmed for the event include LOCOG chief executive, Paul Deighton, Baroness Campbell, chair of UK Sport, and Pat McQuaid, president of the international cycling federation and IOC member.

As part of the Sport and Recreation Alliance’s 90th anniversary celebrations, nine young people have been recognised as future sector leaders in a special Youth Edition of the organisation’s annual Community Sport and Recreation Awards.
