Sir Bobby Charlton will attend the Sport and Recreation Alliance Annual General Meeting (AGM) at St James’s Palace later this month so that he can be presented with the Arthur Bell Trophy for his services to community sport.
Sir Bobby picks up the prize for his work as President of the Torch Trophy Trust, the charity dedicated to rewarding the work of volunteers in sport.
The Alliance AGM takes place on 19 July and begins at 11:15, with doors opening at 10:15.
If you are entitled to attend (as a head or an appointed representative of an Alliance member) you have until 5pm Monday 9 July to let Tina Patel know by emailing her at tpatel@sportandrecreation.org.uk.
