    The Scottish Protection of Vulnerable Groups Act (PVG) 2007 is due to come into force from 28 February 2011. If you have member organisations based in Scotland you will need to:

    • inform them of their legal obligations;
    • make them aware of the new scheme;
    • provide guidance on the scheme options available for use with individuals in regulated work.

    Please Note: This is not connected with the English Vetting and Barring Scheme.

    In partnership with TMG CRB the Sport and Recreation Alliance has produced guidance on this issue.
