The Sport and Recreation Alliance is delighted to confirm that our 2023 Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be taking place this year on Tuesday 12 September at Guildhall, with thanks to the City of London Corporation.
Those in attendance will be able to hear all about the Alliance’s work and successes from the past 12 months, and will also have the opportunity to speak to our President, HRH The Duke of Edinburgh, who will be chairing the meeting.
The event will provide members with a wonderful opportunity to network with their sector peers in a fantastic setting in the capital. Guests will be able to arrive from 12pm, with the event finishing by 4pm.
Tickets are limited to one per member organisation. Please note that this event is for Sport and Recreation Alliance members only, and registrations are now closed.
We will share further details in the coming weeks of what you can expect on the day and the process for any voting procedures.
As part of the AGM, we are thrilled to launch nominations for the Spirit of Sport and Recreation Award, which celebrates volunteers in our sector who have dedicated their lives to helping to get the nation active.
Previous winners of the Spirit of Sport and Recreation Award (formerly the Emeritus Award), include Sir Hugh Robertson KCMG MP, Dame Diana Ellis, and Dame Mary Peters CH DBE, as well as last year’s winner, LTA President Sandi Procter.
