NICE consultation on health and wellbeing in the workplace

The National Institution for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) has launched a consultation on workplace policy and management practices to improve the health and wellbeing of employees.

NICE provides national guidance and advice to improve health and social care.

The consultation recommends revisions to the existing guidance on issues including:

  • organisational culture
  • facilities policies and procedures
  • leadership and line management
  • measuring impact.

Stakeholders are asked to comment on the proposals and whether the guidance could be improved to better promote equal opportunities.

The deadline for responses is 5 November 2014.
