Our annual learning and training event will see speakers from both within and outside the sector discuss how sport and recreation organisations can use technology to drive their impact, reach and profile – something that has taken on added importance in recent times.

Join us in Birmingham – the hub of sporting activity this year – for what promises to be an exciting and informative event. Book your tickets here.

Thanks to our headline sponsors, Air IT, we are delighted to be able to offer day tickets for members for just £50, a hugely reduced rate on previous years.

There is also an additional networking opportunity in the evening, which includes a three-course meal. This ticket is priced at just £70 for members and covers the convention and evening reception.

Feedback from our members highlighted a desire to discover more about operating in an online world, so we have curated a fantastic day of learning to help attendees push their organisation forward.

Alongside hearing from a host of technology experts, guests will have more than three hours of networking time, helping the sector to reconnect, recharge, and reinvent.

Find out more about our three confirmed sessions below, and keep your eye out for more session announcements in the coming weeks.

Session 1: Changing the game with technology

The event will kick-off with a panel discussion led by Sport Tech Hub by London Sport, looking at the positive impact organisations have seen by embracing technology, from the more commonplace to augmented and virtual realities

Head of Sport Tech Hub, Alex Zurita, will be joined by Ben Wilkins, co-founder and CEO of Good Boost, and a member of the Swim England team, to discuss how sports tech ventures and social enterprises can work together with governing bodies, local authorities and sporting organisations to deliver accessible solutions to the problems we’re facing as a sector, encouraging more people to become and stay active.

Session 2: Modernising your strategy in a digital world

Guests will have the opportunity to hear from CIMSPA’s Commercial Director, Ollie Bell, who will discuss the ever-evolving digital landscape, and through a series of deep dives into user cases from the Sport England & CIMSPA Digital Marketing Hub, Ollie will showcase how organisations, clubs and businesses within the sport and physical activity sector can use digital marketing to engage participants and maximise experience.

This keynote session will also focus on how to remain ahead of the curve, and with half an eye on the future, Ollie may even share (pretend to know) a little bit about what’s heading our way when it comes to the Blockchain, NFT’s and the Metaverse.?

Session 3: Opening your activity to new opportunities

In this session, four tech experts will talk about how they have recently been collaborating with the sector and the progress they have seen.

Representatives from Air IT, Microsoft, Datto and IASME will share their top tips on what makes a great two-way relationship between physical activity and technology, helping you be ready to adopt innovative ways of working, and ultimately, be able to thrive.

Whether you’re taking your first steps into the digital sphere or you want to know more about the latest trends, you’ll have the chance to engage with organisations at the very top of the industry in an interactive Q&A discussion at the end of the session. Be prepared to be inspired with access to free professional expertise and support to help your organisation keep pace in our advanced world of technology.
