MemCom 2015 - the 15th annual membership marketing conference – takes place on 21 May, with this year’s theme focused on engagement.
The theme of engagement will be explored looking not just at member engagement but how membership bodies are engaging with all stakeholders. From non-members to government, employers, sector skills bodies and others recognising the importance of good engagement is key when it comes to measuring your success as an organisation and your role within your sector.
The top line findings of the Member Engagement Survey, carried out by Ashridge Communications, will also be presented during the event. This follows on from their formative 2013/14 study and will be evaluating engagement across 28 measures.
During the morning of the event there will be a main conference session and two breakout streams all focusing on improving member engagement, using the latest technology and techniques available. Details of these sessions are below:
• Main conference session - Engagement Strategy. Includes a presentation by the British Interactive Media Association on how to keep members engaged through the relationship lifecycle.
• Stream 1 - Maximising engagement through technology and interactivity. Includes a Marketing Automation Membership Masterclass based on the IDM’s leading 1 day course in Marketing Automation
• Stream 2 - Thought leadership and content delivery. Includes Tanya Kesterton, Learning Solutions Manager, Institute of Swimming on how she has utilised a blended learning approach to deliver courses to a variety of audiences in the aquatics sector.
