Welcome to our new Sport and Recreation Alliance website. We hope you like the new look!

We have designed our new site to help you find the news and content you are looking for quickly and easily. We have also created a members section where you will find personalised content just for you.

This includes finding contact details for other members and exclusive news and information about upcoming events. This is also the space where you will be able to download our latest reports and publications, plus learn how to get involved in our latest campaigns.

Here is what you’ll be able to find within each section of the website:

Membership

Details of the benefits and services on offer, including how to make use of the Legal Panel Framework and how to hire rooms at Alliance HQs in London for your meetings. There is also information here on our Alliance DirectorsClub (ADC) where existing and aspiring board directors in sport and recreation are able to hone their skills, build up professional networks and progress their careers as non-executive directors. Members of ADC have a special hub on the new website that can be accessed from the members section.

News and Events

All the latest news, events and blogs. This is where you can share your news and information with us, learn what we and other members are up to and also how to take part in things like our Community Sport and Recreation Awards. This is also the place you were you can tell us what type of information you would like to receive from us in the future.

Policy and Influence

This section is where you are able to access to our latest research, join our campaigns, keep up-to-date with and feed in to ongoing consultations. You can also find out about what’s going on in Parliament that will have an impact upon the sector, including our work with the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Sport.

Governance

Helpful tools and resources to make sure your governance procedures and practices are up to standard are here. This includes our Voluntary Code of Good Governance, which is very relevant as part of the new sports strategy, as well as a governance library that has a whole host of information to bring you to speed.
