With the theme this year focusing on Evidencing Impact and Using Data, the Summit in association with Perkin Slade, will see over 100 sports leaders come together to learn about how the sector can better demonstrate its value.

We are focusing on this area as it has been a topic that has generated a lot of debate amongst Alliance members as it is one of the key points referenced in the new Government’s strategy Sporting Future.

On the day, speakers such as Sport England’s CEO, Jennie Price, will address how they see the sector evolving to implement the asks of the new strategy.

Lee Preston, Head of Sport and Community at Manchester City Council, will offer his first-hand experience into how Local Government will work with sport and recreation to drive participation and reduce levels of inactivity.

There will also be insight from Phil Young, Head of Online at Transport for London, about how organisations can go about collecting and analysing data to improve customer confidence and trust.

The workshops will also focus on data and insight and help organisations learn about how data can improve their funding options, increase their volunteer footprint and help them to grow in an increasingly competitive environment when people are pushed for time and resources.

The full day’s schedule can be downloaded below and there are still some tickets available to this event, with tickets starting from£175+VAT for Alliance members.
