Join In, a new charitable trust established in 2012, is hosting an event in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on the afternoon of 19 July.

Set to be the UK’s biggest ever event for volunteers, Go Local will feature music and comedy as well as provide information and inspiration for those who want to offer their time to their local community, but aren’t quite sure how.

Last summer, the Olympic and Paralympic Games created generated a renewed interest in volunteering from the UK public. Join in was formed with the aim of taking converting this enthusiasm and into making a real difference to sports clubs and community groups all over the UK country.

Tickets to Go Local are being sold in pairs to encourage existing volunteers to bring a friend who is interested in getting involved in volunteering too but perhaps doesn't know how.

EXCLUSIVE ALLIANCE OFFER
Alliance members, and Alliance members’ clubs are now able to have exclusive access to the Go Local event ahead of general sale.

Tickets are priced at £15 for two people – just visit www.ticketmaster.co.uk/go-local now.
