The Sport and Recreation Alliance has secured an exclusive member discount for the Sports Development Conference on 21 November in Manchester.

The theme is Ensuring a Fitter, Healthier Nation and will discuss the best strategy to ensure sport and physical activity becomes a lifelong habit for British people following the Games.

Confirmed speakers include:

  • Steve Cram MBE – former chairman of the English Institute of Sport
  • John Steele – chief executive officer of the Youth Sport Trust
  • Tom Williams – country manager of parkrun UK.

Alliance members can get an exclusive discount off their ticket price – £45 if you’re a public sector organisation and £50 if your organisation is based within the charity sector.
