The Alliance has been gathering a compelling evidence base which suggests that not only is outdoor recreation valued highly by the British population, but it also drives tourism, creates jobs and provides an invaluable natural health service.
This week the Alliance will present its early findings at the Countryside Recreation Network research conference alongside leading academics in the outdoor sector.
The event aims to establish tangible ways of achieving better join-up between academics, policy makers and practitioners, and the Alliance will be engaging with this audience to maximise the impact of our research.
The final report will be published before Easter.
