If you’re a coach or volunteer in sport or recreation, filling in your tax return needn’t be a pain. In fact HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) has been working closely with the Sport and Recreation Alliance to offer a free webinar to help you complete your tax return.
The online presentation has been tailored specifically to help coaches and volunteers who work in sport and recreation. We’ll explain how Self Assessment works, give useful advice on completing your tax return and offer some suggestions on budgeting for your tax bill.
It lasts about an hour, and includes an opportunity for you to ask the presenter any questions in relation to your tax return. You can watch the free webinar live on the following dates:
16 January at 10am
25 January at 10am
29 January at 7pm
Sign up and find out more here.
You need to get your online tax return to HMRC by 31 January or you’ll have to pay a penalty – so don’t delay.
