Joining us for the award ceremony at Edgbaston will be Emily Campbell, weightlifting bronze medallist from the Gold Coast 2018 and British record holder for the 90kg+ class.

Keeping with the Commonwealth Games trend, Ian Reid, CEO for Birmingham 2022, will be celebrating grassroots success and looking ahead to the event as it heads to England’s second city.

Dignitaries from the city and the royal family will be at the awards with Yvonne Mosquito, the Lord Mayor of Birmingham, attending with Alliance president HRH the Earl of Wessex who will present the winner of each category with their award and £1,000 prize money.
