CCPR vice president Keith Mitchell OBE passes away news article image

CCPR is sorry to announce that CCPR vice-president Keith Mitchell has passed away.

A former Chairman of the CCPR, Keith had been a VP and an Honorary Member since 1986, having previously held a number of senior positions at the English Basketball Association, including the posts of Honorary Secretary, Honorary President, Honorary Chairman and Honorary Patron. He also acted as President of the Commonwealth Basketball Federation and Vice President of the European Basketball Federation. He was awarded the OBE for his services to sport in 1979.

The funeral will be held at Rawdon Crematorium, Leeds Road, Rawdon, Leeds, LS19 6JP at 12.20 pm on Tuesday.
