CCPR is sorry to announce that CCPR vice-president Dick Robinson has passed away.
Dick Robinson first became involved in CCPR in 1973, and in the subsequent 36 years fulfilled many roles within the organisation, culminating in his election as vice president in 2002. He was chair of the Major Spectator Sports Division from 1983 to 1995, helping to steer CCPR through many challenges during that time. Dick had also been the chair of the Lawn Tennis Association and remained involved in the sport as an honorary life vice-president of the LTA. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him and a great loss to the world of sport in general.
The funeral will be aprivate family affair, but if anyone wishes to do so they can send a donation to the charity SPARKS.
