Bookings for the Sport and Recreation Alliance's European Sports Summit – Major events: Major opportunities are now being taken.

Major events: Major opportunities will be hosted at the Kia Oval Cricket Ground on 20 June and is set to probe the challenges, seek out the opportunities and discover if Europe and the UK can still compete with the rest of the world.

The summit, costing just £60+VAT for Alliance members, will bring together key policy-makers, sports administrators, journalists, lawyers and other stakeholders to untangle the issues.

Confirmed speakers include:

  • Debbie Jevans, chief executive of England Rugby World Cup 2015 and former director of sport at LOCOG
  • Andy Parkinson, chief executive of UK Anti-Doping
  • Nick Coward, general secretary of the Premier League
  • Helen Day, head of European policy at the European Sponsorship Association
