“The Sport and Recreation Alliance congratulates Boris Johnson on his election as Conservative Party Leader and PM and we hope that he maintains his commitment to improve the shockingly low levels of activity among children and young people across the country and does indeed make this one of his priorities, as he suggested last week. We are ready to work with Mr Johnson to help drive forward these changes and to make the case for grassroots sport and recreation on behalf of our members.”
