Alliance Partner Croner, the HR and health and safety solutions experts has launched its Management and Supervisory Development Programme.

The programme gives line managers a basic understanding of key employment legislation and awareness of the risks of non-compliance. It also provides them with a wide range of people management tools and techniques which will enhance their skills in dealing with the people-management aspects of their jobs.

To celebrate the launch of the programme, Croner are offering Alliance members £25.00 off the standard price of its half-day workshops – that’s a total saving of £150.00 if members subscribe take the full programme.

Aimed at those new to management, this six-workshop programme gives delegates the knowledge, tools and skills to effectively line manage staff. Topics covered include:

• Essential Employment Practice
• Managing Investigations
• Dealing with Discipline and Grievances
• Minimising Absence, Maximising Attendance
• Performance Management and Appraisals

The half-day sessions, from 09:15 – 13:00, are running at locations across the UK and will include an HR Clinic where delegates will have the opportunity to meet with Croner’s experts to ask any specific questions they may have.
