The Alliance Hub is a new one-stop shop for our members. It will allow you to decide what sort of information you want to receive and you’ll be able to book onto upcoming events, training workshops or member meetings. Creating an account on the new platform will also give you access to member only content on our website.
All of our members will receive two emails about the Hub on Monday. The first will explain more about the platform and the second will provide you with a link to set your password and get started.
What does this new platform offer and how will it help you operate more effectively?
· Choose your communication preferences
We want to make sure our content is relevant to you and provides you with information and insights which help you do your job. The communications preferences section of the Hub allows you to decide what content you want to receive:
o Daily News Summary - a roundup of all the important news from across the sport and recreation sector each morning;
o Event Updates - be the first to find out about our free and member discounted events and training;
o Monthly Policy Update - keep up to date with all the latest policy developments which impact sport and recreation from our CEO, Emma Boggis;
o Non-Executive Director Alert - receive regular updates on the latest non-executive director vacancies in the sport and recreation sector;
o Member Reference Panel - share your views on the state of the industry and influence the way we support the sector.
· Sign up to events
Booking on to events, workshops, webinars and podcasts, such as our Governance Training Programme, annual Sports Summit and free member meetings will be quick and easy. Don’t forget that as a member you’ll always be able to attend our events for free or at a significant discount, saving your organisation hundreds of pounds.
· Access premium member only website content
Creating an account on the Hub will also give you access to all parts of our website, including our GDPR resource hub, detailed policy briefing papers and free business support helpline. Please note, your existing password to the member section of our website will expire on Monday and you’ll need to use your new Alliance Hub password to access the website in future.
· Introduce your colleagues to the Alliance
Each member organisation will have an administrator who will be able to add their colleagues to the Alliance Hub, allowing them to access all the benefits which come with membership.
We’ll be adding further functionality to the Hub in the coming months and hope you find the new system valuable. Please keep an eye out for details of how to access the system on Monday morning and feel free to contact me at tmorgan@sportandrecreation.org.uk if you need any help getting started.
