The Sport and Recreation Alliance is proud to support ukactive and CIMPSA in promoting the Active Training Awards, highlighting excellence within the Activity sector.
The Active Training Awards 2014 are now open for entries. Delivered by ukactive and CIMSPA and sponsored by Active IQ, the awards are the first and only accolade of their type that celebrates exceptional performance and commitment in vocational training and development within the physical activity sector.
Why should you think about entering?
1. Showcase your expertise to consumers – CIMSPA and ukactive represent well over 6,000 employers and learners across the activity sector all looking for workforce development solutions. Case studies of the finalists will be circulated to these individuals and organisations, whilst the winners will be showcased in a dedicated e-zine highlighting the quality that set them apart.
2. Receive high quality feedback - every award is assessed by a different team of expert judges who will provide applicants with a detailed feedback report outlining strengths and weaknesses, and guidance on how to improve your practices.
3. Test and improve yourself – applications are subjected to a three stage process designed to force applicants to ask difficult questions of their organisations and practices. By completing the application every provider will recognise areas for development and maybe some strengths that deserve greater promotion
4. Demonstrate Quality – Employers and learners are constantly searching for quality provision and what better way to demonstrate quality than by submitting a programme or your company for an Active Training Award
5. Celebrate excellence - Join sector colleagues at the Active Training Awards Night on 27th November. This gala dinner and awards ceremony is a dedicated event to recognising and showcasing best practice in active training provision.
