Independent Voice of the Sector
As a member of the Alliance, we will represent you when we speak with Government, policy makers and the media.
- We produce original research and reports to evidence the value of sport and recreation in our campaigns.
- We influence sports policy - engaging with Government officials, lobby MPs, respond to consultations and submit evidence to inquiries on behalf of our members.
- We provide the secretariat for the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Sport, addressing issues which directly impact our members.

- Our e-learning platform, in collaboration with Access Sport, provides you with an accessible way to acquire new skills, at discounted rates.
- We run a programme of webinars and events to provide you with learning and networking opportunities.

Throughout the year, we host events, training programmes and networking opportunities, connecting you with other Alliance members.
- Our flagship Community Sport and Recreation Awards celebrates the very best of grassroots sport and recreation every year.
- In autumn, our Annual General Meeting is a fantastic opportunity to provide us with feedback and network with fellow members.
- As a member, you are assigned to a division with similar organisations, which each meet quarterly.
- Regular webinars and other events that change from year-to-year, based on the needs of members.

Meeting room hire
Our meeting rooms, located in the heart of central London, are available to hire for members at a discounted rate. We have rooms of various sizes, and offer catering for breakfast or lunch should you require it.
