The Sport and Recreation Alliance is delighted to announce the launch of a new website, developed with partners 93ft.
The new website will provide a fantastic platform for the Alliance to showcase its work as the independent voice of sport and recreation, and allow members to engage far more easily.
Some of the key features include:
There is plenty more to explore as well, including updates to our jobs page, our events page, our history, and a brand-new ‘Sport + Recreation in Numbers’ section – which will have plenty more data added to it soon.
Alliance CEO, Lisa Wainwright MBE, said:
“We are thrilled to launch our new website, which will enable our members to interact more effectively with us, and ensure we represent their interests in the best way possible.
“It also allows us to showcase our work in a clearer, more accessible, and more engaging way, which will benefit all visitors to the site – from members to sector partners, those looking to join the Alliance, and people from outside the sport and recreation sector.
“I would like to thank our partners at 93ft for developing the website over the past months, and we look forward to continuing our relationship with them in the future.”
We welcome the publication of the Department for Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee’s “Game On: Community and School Sport” report, which identifies a series of recommendations to government to strengthen grassroots sport and physical activity.
