Amanda Bennett | Retired rugby fly-half and Founding Director of Fairplay Ltd, Amanda Bennett will be hosting the sessions using her wealth of experience in good governance, effective leadership and inclusion. She has contributed to the development of A Code for Sports Governance, co-authored the Equality Standard for Sport and the Premier League Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Standard, and designed highly successful UK and international leadership programmes. |
Sally Munday OBE | Sally joined UK Sport as CEO in September 2019, having held the same position at England and GB Hockey for the previous 10 years. Sally has helped to guide Olympic and Paralympic sport through an unprecedented period of change, securing financial support from Government to cover the extended Tokyo cycle and launched the Continuity Fund to help NGBs deal with the financial challenges created by COVID-19. During her time in hockey, Sally oversaw a golden era for the sport, with highlights including the Team GB women securing their first ever Olympic title at the Rio 2016 Games and the men’s team finishing in fourth place at London 2012. |
Annamarie Phelps CBE OLY | Annamarie was appointed Chair of the British Horseracing Authority in June 2019 and is currently Vice Chair of the British Olympic Association and Associate Consultant to Safe Sport International. Former World Champion in Women’s Lightweight Coxless Fours and indoor rowing, Annamarie represented Great Britain in the women’s eight at the Atlanta Olympic Games, 1996. She played a major part in the successful bid of the UK IWG Secretariat 2022-26 and was appointed Chair during the nominations process. During her time as Vice Chair and Chair of British Rowing, she oversaw safeguarding, anti-doping, governance, and equality policies across the sport. Annamarie currently serves on the IPC Legal and Ethics Committee, the IOC’s Olympic Education Commission, and the boards of European Rowing, and the Head of Charles Regatta. |
Keith Daniell | Keith is the owner and founder of TMG Training, a businessman, director and trustee as well as an associate of Henley and Oxford University Business Schools. He is an experienced board member with expertise in communication and strategy. He was a television presenter and journalist for ITN, ITV and Channel 4. He now works with leading organisations to develop, simplify and maximise effective communication. |
Helene Raynsford | Helene is better known as a Paralympic gold medallist from the 2008 Beijing Games and a World Champion in rowing. She has also represented GB on the Wheelchair Basketball team where she won two silver Paralympic World Cup medals. Following retirement from rowing, she took a secondment to work for LOCOG as part of the Sport Management team for rowing across the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics. In addition to Helene’s sporting achievements, she will bring with her a proven record across public service, local authority, sport and health. She has started her second term on the BPA’s Athlete Commission and in 2018 was elected to the Chair position. |
Genevieve Shore | Genevieve joined the RFU board in 2017 as an Independent Non-Executive Director. She is a former England international player and was part of the 1994 Women’s Rugby World Cup winning team. Genevieve has over 25 years of experience in media including as Chief Information Officer and Chief Product Officer at FTSE100 Pearson from 2009 to 2014. In this role, she was responsible for leading and driving technology solutions across the company, from enterprise architecture, global infrastructure, and core platforms to digital products and services. Genevieve also holds a number of other non-executive roles including roles at Santander UK, Moneysupermarket.com, Next Fifteen Communications Group plc, Arup and Lego. |
Adrian Ruth | Adrian is a Non-Executive Director of the Sport and Recreation Alliance, and Chair of its Finance and Audit Committee. He has spent the majority of his career at the BBC, most recently as Director for Sustainability and BBC Spark, the BBC’s in-house lean transformation team. Both teams helped others across the BBC change how they work for the better – becoming more efficient, effective and sustainable. Adrian performed a number of senior executive roles in his 16 years at the BBC. Adrian is a champion of diversity – he was the Senior Leader Sponsor for the BBC’s LGBT staff network, BBC Pride. He is a chartered accountant and barrister-at-law. |
Steph Tranter | As a hybrid Executive Coach, Steph merges the worlds of coaching and therapy (hence the hybrid) with a background in retail and leadership development. Steph specialises in helping managers and directors to identify where to go next in their careers, as well as helping them to both understand and value what makes them unique, and therefore develop their personal leadership style. |
Alan Oram | For over 20 years Alan has been harnessing unique ideas and turning them into powerful and impactful campaigns with outcomes that make a difference to the way people think and behave. He has been communicating stories inside and out, for global brands to local businesses and everything in between. Thinking deeply, shocking occasionally, laughing frequently (maybe too frequently) and delighting consistently. |
