The Alliance is the independent voice of the sport and recreation sector, providing advice, support and guidance to its members which include national governing bodies and other national and regional sport and recreation organisations. The Alliance works closely with government, policy makers and the media to help grassroots sport and recreation grow and thrive.
“We are seeking someone with policy research experience and a passion for sport and recreation to help strengthen our evidence base as we work to deliver our strategy, The Heart of an Active Nation,” said Ben Jessup, Policy Adviser.
“We want to demonstrate the positive social and economic impact of sport, and the value which grassroots sport and recreation brings to communities across the country. Combining this with our work across a range of technical and regulatory issues, we are looking for someone to drive high-quality research and policy analysis across multiple policy areas."
Ben added: “This is a great role for someone who is looking to take their first step into a career in policy. With the chance to also lead specific projects and policy activity, this will present plenty of opportunities to learn quickly as you support our work with members and wider stakeholders to help promote the interests of the sport and recreation sector."
