About Us

Volleyball England is the recognised National Governing Body for volleyball, beach volleyball and sitting volleyball in England and is responsible for the delivery, development and promotion of the three disciplines. It was founded in 1972 as the English Volleyball Association, replacing the Amateur Volleyball Association of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, which itself was established in 1955.

The organisation runs the National Volleyball League, the top volleyball competition in England for clubs, supports England national team athletes to compete internationally and grows and develops the game by working closely with a network of clubs. It also organises national sitting volleyball competitions. UKBT is a national partner for beach volleyball competitions in England.

About The Role

Volleyball England is seeking a Project Lead (Talent) to help continue to develop an enhanced Talent system that provides opportunities and supports players to achieve their potential across all formats of the sport.

The role supports the Beach and Indoor Performance Programmes, including national teams at both Senior and age group levels in line with Volleyball England's strategy, The Game Plan.

Working within a wider Talent team, the successful candidate will coordinate annual programme registrations and selection processes for the programmes, lead on the planning and delivery of logistics for camps and competitions, support meeting the entry requirements for national and international events and maintain up-to-date athlete, camp and competition records.

They will also collaborate with the Digital and Communications team to produce content where required and project manage and execute the administrative tasks aligned to national funding grants (such as DiSE and TASS), among other tasks.
