About Us

The British Equestrian Federation is the National Governing Body for Equestrianism in the UK, affiliated to the FEI and supported by UK Sport and Sport England. The organisation has 20 Member Bodies reflecting the interests of a very broad spectrum of equestrian sports and activities, ranging from Olympic and Paralympic competition, to equine welfare, trade and recreational riding. Equestrianism has huge public appeal within an extensive competitive and recreational landscape. Some 2.7 m people in the UK ride each year supported by a strong core of enthusiasts, spectators and volunteers, and creating a substantial market with major economic and social benefits.

About The Role

The BEF is looking to recruit a new Personal Assistant to the Chief Executive and Chair of the Board into its team. Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Personal Assistant role will provide a high level of administrative and organisational support to the BEF Chief Executive and Chair of the Board ensuring they are expertly supported. A key part of this role is to support the Chair and Chief Executive in the management of stakeholder relationships, internally and externally. There are also opportunities to be involved in supporting a range of events from conferences to competitions. Exemplary levels of integrity, tact and diplomacy are essential, along with the highest levels of professionalism and confidentiality
