Board and Executive
Closing date: 19th January 2026
About Us
We are ParalympicsGB. As the National Paralympic Committee (NPC) for Great Britain and Northern Ireland, it is our responsibility to select, prepare, enter, fund and manage the ParalympicsGB team at each Summer and Winter Paralympic Games. Championing Change, our 2022-32 strategy, sets the long-term direction for ParalympicsGB and reflects our near-term opportunities and challenges, setting ambitions for a ten-year period.
London 2012 kindled a passion for disability sport and demonstrated the power of the Paralympics to inspire a shift in perceptions of disability and ability. This strategy builds on that through the continued success of ParalympicsGB and by delivering real and sustainable improvements to the lives of disabled people across the UK over the next ten years. This is epitomised by our Equal Play Campaign.

About the role
ParalympicsGB’s vision is: Through Sport, inspire a better world for disabled people.
We pursue world-leading performance at the Paralympic Games and leverage that to drive social impact and inspire a better world for disabled people. Our Non-Executive Directors are committed to creating the best performance environment possible while also being committed to improving the lives of disabled people and promoting inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility for all.
We’re seeking a Non-Executive Director with the right experience to support us in our revenue generating activities through the LA 2028 Paralympic Games Cycle. Our chief source of revenue is sponsorship: commercial partnerships with well-known consumer-facing brands. This work involves delivering existing partnerships, renewing them where possible, and developing new partnerships.
We also have developing expertise in generating revenue through philanthropic giving and giving from trusts and foundations and want to grow this further for LA2028 and beyond.
This voluntary role would bring a leadership perspective to the work of the Board in these areas and provide guidance and support to the relevant teams at
ParalympicsGB.
It would strongly suit someone with experience of being a senior commercial leader in marketing, sponsorship or advertising. Experience of philanthropic giving and trusts and foundations, meanwhile, is desirable but not essential.
If our vision excites you, if you have relevant experience and expertise, and if you can commit your time to providing guidance, support and constructive challenge, we’d welcome your application to the role.
