About Us

The Eton Fives Association Limited (Registered Charity 1151273) is the national governing body of the sport of Eton Fives, a fast-paced handball sport played on a three-sided indoor or outdoor court.

First codified and popularised at Eton College, the sport spread around the country and the world (including Nigeria, Switzerland, Malaysia and Australia) in the late 19th and early 20th Centuries. Today, Eton Fives is played across approximately forty centres in England & Wales, with the Association overseeing nearly sixty competitions within around thirty tournaments each year.

The Association also seeks to develop the sport by encouraging participation, facilitating court building and renovation, advocacy, and offering practical support for schools, coaches and clubs.

About The Role

Following a successful Centenary Season and associated appeal, the Association seeks to appoint a Chief Executive for the first time in its history.

The Chief Executive will line-manage the staff and volunteers of the Association and, with the Board of Trustees, set the strategic agenda for the growth and flourishing of the sport.

We are looking for an exceptional individual with a track record of leadership, preferably in the charity or sporting sectors, with the ability to thrive in a small organisation.
