Here's a video from Brendon Batson OBE, Chairman of the Professional Players Federation (PPF) and also an ex-footballer. The PPF, alongside the Sport and Recreation Alliance, helped to bring the sector together to ensure that the Charter promotes good mental health practices from within.

AFC Wimbledon striker, Adebayo Akinfenwa, was also on hand throughout the morning to help promote the Charter and the issues of mental health within sport.

The support shown from the national governing bodies, player federations and from professional athletes and sportspeople for the Charter will help to ensure that mental health in sport is no longer a taboo subject.
