Following the release of our new strategy, Support. Recover. Achieve. the Alliance has signalled its commitment to helping members become more sustainable and to handle the challenges that have presented themselves with the COVID-19 pandemic.

Welcoming the announcement, Martin Lindsey, Chief Operating Officer at the Alliance said: “Following consultation with members, we know that an area of concern relates to income generation and we will continue to support our members in exploring new opportunities to improve their financial situation.

“We look forward to developing a long-lasting relationship with Think!Sponsorship, with members' needs at the centre of the work we progress. We encourage you to provide feedback on any specific areas of sponsorship development you wish to cover, as we tailor our support to you.”

Our partners at Think!Sponsorship connect the sponsorship industry through a broad offering that includes conferences, training and networking events. Their consulting division support organisations seeking to maximise their sponsorship potential through analysis, strategy, pricing and packaging work.

Think!Sponsorship Founder Catherine Hawkins added: “We’re really pleased to formalise our relationship with the Alliance and are really looking forward to meeting more members and supporting the sector with our training and commercial expertise. The sponsorship marketplace is fast-evolving and income generation is a central concern for many sports organisations.

“We’re excited to be part of the new strategy in helping members to develop their sponsorship knowledge, awareness and skills with a view to diversifying revenue streams.”

We are delighted to reveal that the partnership kicks off with the offer of a 20% discount to the upcoming 'Connections' virtual conference which takes place from May 17 -21.

Featuring brand interviews, case studies, panel discussions and skills-based learning, the event includes interactive sessions and virtual networking with an expected audience of 1000 delegates. Confirmed speakers include representatives from Virgin Money, Muller, Vodafone, Vitality, TeamGB, M&C Saatchi & Entertainment and many more.

Please contact events@sportandrecreation.org.uk for your exclusive member only discount code.

We look forward to working with Think!Sponsorship and offering members the chance to develop their knowledge, connections and understanding of the sponsorship industry.
