Market Road pitches in Islington have been announced as the first winner of the MyLocalPitch 'Outstanding London Sports Venue Award'.
The Islington ground, which was reopened by Arsenal’s Liam Brady in September following a £2.1m refurbishment, has two full-size and three 5-a-side 3G pitches as well as an eight team changing room, a training room and improved spectator viewing facilities. The award, which was determined by MyLocalPitch users, was based on pitch quality, venue amenities and customer experience.
