Relive Women and Girls in Sport: Imagine. Believe. Achieve.

On Thursday 30 July, the Alliance hosted an online conference entitled Women and Girls in Sport: Imagine. Believe. Achieve.

The virtual event informed key stakeholders on the progress made and the challenges remaining in achieving cross-gender equality in the UK sports sector and identified opportunities for the UK to contribute significantly to global progress in this area.

We welcomed guests from within and outside the sector who are advocates and experts of women and sport and we were delighted to be joined by an impressive line-up of speakers, including Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson, member of the International Olympic Committee, Anita DeFrantz and the Minister for Sport, Nigel Huddleston MP.
