CCPR, organisers of the annual Sports Club of the Year Awards (SCOTY) is delighted to announce a prize fund of £1,000 for a new award - the University Sports Club of the Year.
Sponsored by the Foundation for Sport and the Arts and runningsports, SCOTY is now in its 16th year and recognises the significant contribution of sport and recreation clubs at a grassroots level.
CCPR chief executive Tim Lamb said:
"We’re delighted to be awarding a prize to the University Sports Club of the Year in association with runningsports. This new category recognises the importance of university sport not only in supporting our elite athletes but also in developing a love of sports for all the students involved. We look forward to seeing the stars of the future rewarded today."
